Happy First Birthday!

Ahhhh, our little Waverly Ann is officially one!!! This is her hungry hippo face. 

We brought the chair outside to help her balance. She decided to use it for a ballet bar.

First position, second position. Is she not the cutest (and youngest) ballerina you've ever seen?!

Oh my little sweetheart, you constantly keep us on our toes. What's she up to? She can clap, wave, blow kisses, smile at the camera, climb anything in site, take about 5 steps without tumbling over, brush her teeth (working on tooth #5), brush her hair, drink from a sippy (although she would prefer a regular cup), feed herself, dance (oh how she loves that), has a few words in her vocabulary and she gives the best hugs.

Her favorite person is probably still Harrison. Although now, she thinks she should eat anything he does and play with anything he is. I don't know how many times a day she tries to get into his Legos. Luckily, she's much better about sticking everything in her mouth. Can't wait to see what this next year will bring! We love you, Wavy.

Play Kitchen BEFORE

Have you seen the images of the play kitchens from entertainment centers and night stands? Well, I've been obsessed with them for at least a year now. I wanted to have one finished for Wavy's birthday but as you can see it's not going to happen. I've been searching for the perfect pieces for over a month now and I finally found one. 

I hunted for one that wasn't too big (we don't have much room in the house to spare) and had interesting lines. I found this beauty for $4.99! The top had some water damage but I wasn't worried. I broke out my sander and it's smooth as butter. You'll have to wait to see the next round of pics...

Spaghetti Night

This is one of the first times, I haven't made three different dinners. They both proved tonight they can eat what we are eating!

Miss Piggy takes her eating very seriously. Get away from that, it's mine!

Bargain Finds

I read on Pinterest about an idea that is fabulous...I bought this shower curtain for a buck then I'm going to draw in permanent black marker roads and buildings. Then I'll turn the kids loose with washable markers. Once they are done, I can wash it off and they can start over. We'll see how it turns out.

Kerrie gave me the great tip...I found package of plastic silverware for a buck and I now store it in my car. Whenever we go out to eat with the kids (granted this is a rare occasion but you always have to be prepared), I pull out the plasticware for Way and she doesn't realize the difference! Genius!
