Most people can look at leaves and immediately identify the species. Me, not so much. Let's just put that piece of knowledge on my ongoing "to do/to learn" list. I'm still searching for that extra hour or two in the evening but haven't been able to locate it in quite some time. At least you'll never hear me say "I can't find anything to do today".

Monster Leaf
Most people can look at leaves and immediately identify the species. Me, not so much. Let's just put that piece of knowledge on my ongoing "to do/to learn" list. bet you are not in the minority identifying a tree by its leaves. i never mastered that either and can barely identify a tree by looking at it.
btw the monster leaf is a sycamore. it a fav of mine. back in the day, I was in forestry judging. I also love the birch tree with the paper thin bark that peels off..
