I'm so proud of my sister...her latest film Parker staring Jason Statham and Jennifer Lopez has hit the theaters! If you look close, you can see her name on the movie poster as the Costume Designer!

Chillin'

We're having incredible weather so Wavy and I decided to head to the zoo. We've been reading Goodnight Gorilla so I thought it would be fun to see a real one.

Her vocabulary is getting bigger and it's funny b/c I sometimes have to translate for Ryan. When she wants her jacket on she'll say "tuck, tuck". She always tries to take it off and she'll tell be "stuck, stuck, Mama, stuck." Zipper is "pluh" (not sure where that came from?). Other words are backpack, milk, wah-wah (water), uh-oh (anytime something drops...crumb, crayon, toy), milk, brie (ha!), done, more, cra-cra (cracker), lap (she likes to sit on mine when we read, color or do stickers), cat, bow, nose, baby, bear, book, hat, knock-knock, car, bus, nite-nite, hi, play and my favorite is CHOO-CHOO (for train, she sticks her lips out so far for this one).

W and Buddies

It's our monthly play date with W's boyfriends! It's so much fun seeing the kiddos starting to interact with each other. And I love getting together with the mamas!

18 months!

Our little girl had her 18th month doctor's appointment today. She's 34 inches (95%!!!), 22 lbs 10 oz (22%), and head 18.25 inches (41%). I told the doc she gets her height from me ;) I've read you're half your height by age 2...at this point she'll be at least 5'8".

Waverly's crib reminds me of an episode of Hoarders but she's an excellent sleeper (7pm to 7am) so I'm not complaining. She must have her pink bear on one side, the baby on the other, "tucked" with a blanket and now she insists a book to be added to the pile. Our favorite nightly routine is to check on the kids before we go to sleep. Waverly ALWAYS is buried somewhere. I have no idea how she managed to get her baby doll around her neck???!!!

100 Days Smarter!

H is officially 100 days smarter!

I'm amazed at how much his handwriting has improved in the past couple of months. Way to go Mr H!

Future President?

Happy MLK and Inauguration Day!

Harrison and I were discussing the roles of the President:

Me: The President signs laws which are rules for the country.

H: Oooohh. I want to do that. Okay, I'm going to be an Air Force Pilot, Construction Worker and President. Do you think I'll have the weekends off?

Me: I think you'll somehow manage.

He's also mentioned, he's going to have five kids (all boys), drive a black mini van with automatic doors and live across the street from CJ.

This girl is lovin' life!

W is sportin' the animal themed outfit today. It's amazing that she was able to get that wolf to pose in the backdrop.

BTW, this kid has become a PICKY dresser. Gone are the days I can put her in the cute clothes I pick out. Secretly, I think it's kinda cute...shhhhh, don't tell her ;)

projects, projects, projects....

I'm going to be posting at random times over the next couple of months because I've suddenly become crazy busy. If you follow me on Instagram (user: thephotogoo), you'll be able to keep track :) I've had more free-lance work coming my way, H's school is keeping me booked and W is starting her adventures in toddlerhood (good days and bad days)!

AND, Kat and I are gearing up for the Chili with a Kick festival on February 16th (this is a hint to mark your calendar and start stocking away some dinero) AND our new website/blog will be debuting February 1st!!!
