Impressed?

By the look of these two, I don't think they're really impressed with the Easter bunny. I mean really, the bunny doesn't have hands so how in the world does he hide all those eggs and deliver Easter baskets?! At least Santa is a man with a whole team working for him.

Grill Master

Ahhh, it's our Grill Master at his best. Let's see we have ribs, chicken, corn and asparagus. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Every time Ryan cooks up something special he has to send a picture to Kyle. I'm beginning to think they have food-mance going on . . .

Here Kitty Kitty

Oh that Baby, always chasing the kitty cat. Speaking of baby, Waverly has many nicknames (W, Wavy, Way, Way-Way, Silly Buns, Hot Rod but our favorite is Baby). Harrison probably calls her Baby more than Waverly. I think it's b/c we didn't find out the gender, so for 9 months she was known as Baby :)

Moving Around

The trench is covered up so hopefully the grass will start moving in. BTW, Mr H took this shot.

I saw in the latest This Old House, a yard with scrubs boxes and it got me thinking . . . H agrees.

Rock Tower

Here's a shot from yesterday of the rock towers Harrison and I built. Not bad, not bad at all!

The Greatest

Instead of rushing back home, we decided to take the leisure route. We stopped at a park and played for over an hour. Plus I got to visit with Lily :)

Ryan pulled off to one of his favorite spots on the river. It takes many years to master skipping stones but H is getting closer and closer.

Oh, the ladies basking in the warm spring sun.

We started calling him Huckleberry Harrison. Days like these are my favorite.

Silver Dollar City

Here's a shot of the crew before entering Silver Dollar City. I'm not sure why Waverly is licking the tray?! I made sure and took a picture of Harrison with my phone. I read somewhere you should always take a picture before going into a crowd just in case they get lost. Sometimes it's hard to remember what they were wearing that day. I put a bright orange shirt on him too so he's easy to spot.

Harrison is now at the perfect age to start enjoying all the rides. I was excited to be the first one to take him on a roller coaster. I was a little nervous that he'd want off or start crying but he laughed the entire time!

Bob and Mimi were a great help. The lines for everything were insane but we all survived.

Poor Harrison is so exhausted Ryan had to carry him out of the park!

Time to hit the road, we're heading to the Ozarks. I've been playing with some of the actions created by the Pioneer Woman. This one is my favorite. Might have to make a small print of it.

Here's another action treatment. Not to bad . . .

This is the original image with no touch ups.

The drive took us about 3 hours and the kids were both wonderful. Okay, Mr. Town Hall Meeting (this is an inside joke).

We hiked down the hill from our condo to explore the shore. Beautiful weather with not too many bugs.

Little Wavy always falls asleep in dada's snug arms.

Spring Break

Harrison is on spring break this week so I decided to shut down the computer and enjoy some time with the little man. Today we went to the Art Center to see If You Take A Mouse To School. Of course, we had to get there super early to get good seat. Waverly wasn't a fan of the dark theater but Harrison had plenty of LOL (literally) moments.

Yard Work?

Some call in yard work, I call it peace. We've been have incredible weather lately and being outside is one of my favorite things to do. I planted these flowers last October and they're still hanging in there.

I decided the monkey grass is in desperate need of a trim. Yep, I broke out the trusty scissors and started hacking away. It was pretty fun imagining I was at the salon getting someone the worst haircut they've ever gotten!

Happy 88th Nana!

Happy Birthday NANA! Each year, Ryan's sister comes up with some cleaver idea for Nana's birthday. This year she printed out 88 photos with people who love her holding up birthday signs. Pat Sajak managed to send one in too.

March Playdate

Oh goodness, imagine trying to get 5 babies to sit still for a decent shot. This was my best attempt!

St. Patty's Day Love

Happy St. Patty's day from the green family! I haven't blogged in FOREVER, I know, I know. It's been super busy lately raising two youngins', working full time and all the extras. I've been photographing just slow on the postings. I'll get it together someday :)

Diggin' IT

The boys thought it would be a good idea if the shed had electricity. Unfortunately he didn't count on so many rocks in the ground so it's taking them a lot longer than anticipated. We'll be calling for Bob's assistance soon . . .

Busy Bodies

I can't recall which project Harrison was fixing to require his gloves and safety googles. He makes my heart smile.

Apparently I'm not feeding her enough. Waverly is helping herself to a snack from the pantry. Nothing is sweeter than baby toes!

Our Monkeys

My college buddy CJ and her kiddos came in town from Houston and it was awesome to see them. It's been too long! I took the day off so we could hang at the zoo.

Ah, to be young and carefree again!

Hot Rods

The classic toys are the best.

Do you think she'll be a tom boy in pretty, little dresses?

Ethan!

Our little Ethan is a senior! He's become such a handsome man (well, I still consider him a boy).

I remember when his biggest worry was losing his baby teeth. He was so afraid he's had a big head with little teeth. I think you turned out just fine.

The camera sure does like this boy.

Harrison captured quite a few pictures then he decided he wanted to pose with Ethan too.

Ahhh, aren't they cute?!!

8 Months!

Look who's 8 months!!! I had to give her a few items to distract her so I could get these shots. Otherwise she would just crawl away.

I love this expression. She crinkles her nose and makes a sniffling sound.

Our little lady has changed SOOO much these past couple weeks! She can now crawl with her belly off the ground but she discovered she's faster on her belly thanks to our hardwood floors. She's eating 3 full meals a day and hasn't refused anything I've given her. She's constantly pulling up and opening drawers. The landing still needs some work. She has no fear and seems to have a high pain tolerance :)

In the mornings, she waves bye-bye to Ryan. Clapping happens quite a bit after she's eaten. She's mastering the sippy cup. She's saying dada, mama, bye-bye and bho-bho (I think she's trying to say brother). I'm not sure if she's connecting all the words but she can get them out.

We're learning more about her personalty too. She's pretty bashful if strangers smile at her. She hides her head in my arm then looks back at them and flashes a cute little grin. It's all about games with her. Still playing peak-a-boo and now she lays her head on her shoulder and starts laughing (a new game she's invented). BTW, she's extremely ticklish and a fan of music. She'll start bopping along to any sound.

Double Trouble?

Ryan's realizing he will now have two helpers for each project which means the double the amount of time to get the job finished ;)

Get Your Hands Dirty

Time for new garden gloves?! I'm lovin' this weather and we're trying to take advantage of it before all the bugs come out.

This pose was Ryan's idea. I think Harrison is a little embarrassed.

Ryan manage to strike a deal with H if he planted his feet in the foot. Ha ha!
