Six Months!

Happy 6 months birthday Waverly! I really can't believe it but I can't imagine our lives without her. 

Every 6-month-old needs her own tutu. This was a Christmas gift from Auntie M.

She's not quite sitting up on her own but getting closer each day. She's able to get up on all fours and rock back and forth. She loves to turn on her mobile's music while laying in the crib. She's starting to have separation anxiety and likes to be where the action is at. 

Everything goes directly to her mouth . . . nom, nom, nom.

Lil Fan

Ahhh, our little fan is too cute. I'm glad we were able to convince him to wear his jersey to school today.

Whiskers on Kittens

Monthly Dates

I found this idea on Pinterest and thought it was perfect for Ryan's Christmas gift. I bought 12 envelopes and wrote down 12 different date ideas. This month we'll be staying indoors for our date and picking up some Chipotle and challenging each other in a round of Rock Band. This date is nice b/c it doesn't require a sitter.

On the back, we'll circle to date to ensure we do it. Once you have kids, it can be really hard finding time for a date but you need to make time for each without the kids :)

Cubes Full of Food

Waverly is at the stage where I can begin to make and store her baby food. Super Baby Foods by Ruth Yaron is my go-to guide. My favorite part of the book is the monthly guide on what their digestive system can handle. So far she's had rice cereal, bananas, sweet potatoes, avocado, squash and whole milk plain yogurt. She never refuses a meal :)
