Ice Cream Friday

I took the kids for ice cream this afternoon...what this picture doesn't show is the MAJOR meltdowns both of them had before we left. It's best not to go in public on Fridays after a long week. 

My Sweetie

My sweet heart brought me flowers today. He never gives me them on holidays but waits until I'm not expecting it. It's hard to believe we've been together for 12 YEARS!!!

Crowbars

Our conversation on the way home from school:

Me: Oh look, this house is for for rent.

H: We should move in!

Me: No, I like our house and I'm not moving.

H: Well, it's going to take a crowbar to get you outta our house. Dada and me will each have to get one.

Silly Buns Bambina

I don't know what it is about Wavy but she's always cracking us up. Lately, after she's finished her cereal, she lifts her bowl and finished the milk. Sometimes it actually make it into her mouth!

This is her showing us her biggest smile, which in turn makes me to it right back at her.

Kitty's Bear

Even "Cat" (W's name for Lucy) has a pink bear.

Escape

Ryan and I were able to escape the kids and enjoy some alone time. We started the day at a local coffee shop and I couldn't help but photograph these signs. My heart always smiles when I see handwriting with doodles/drawings.

Grand Love

I love seeing the kids hang out with Nana, their great-grandmother. So sweet.
