Harrison allowed us to browse in two furniture stores for couches. We're looking for a deep seat, neutral color and some kind of textured fabric. It has to withstand spills, cat fur, long naps (as if), wrestling and fort building. The first one doesn't really have arms but I like the legs and the second one has the block-style legs. Any thoughts?

like both. color on #1 looks a bit light for cats and children.dont know your price range, but figure you would like the best couch at the lowest price. i did see some good looking deep couches at sams.
I vote for the top one-- looks more modern.
I think both are nice but the top couch gets my vote. :)
The first one looks a bit more modern/new age. But I'd be worreid about keeping that lighter color clean (maybe I'm just messy!).
