When Someone Is Quiet . . .

I haven't been a mother very long but I know you should always worry when your toddler is quiet. As we were heading to the grocery store, I glanced back at my quiet child and immediately pulled the car over. I had forgotten he grabbed the mascara before we left. Luckily, he didn't try to eat it or put it on his lashes. When I asked Harrison what he was doing, he just flashed me one of his "melt your heart" smiles.

quiet is not always good. and gosh, i can hardly get the lid off my mascara. never trust him with child-proof lids most of them are really adult-proof.
