To mark the first day of summer and the incredibly hot weather, I decided to try out the old saying "it's so hot you could fry an egg out here."
The skillet was outside for about 10 minutes before I cracked the egg.
I actually forgot about the experiment for about an hour. Here's the result.

i thought the egg was supposed to be broken on the sidewalk or asphalt. guess i never thought about it enough.
Very clever. It's likely harder to do this in northern MI---maybe we'll try some day. Very fun . . . how'd it taste?? ;->
