Today local firefighters were gathering "Toys for Tots" and it was the perfect opportunity to purchase games and toys for the kiddos. I know a lot of charities are suffering this year so we picked up a couple extra ones. This evening we were a block away from the house and the car completely DIED! We couldn't put it in neutral and the emergency lights wouldn't come on!!! Scary! Within 10 seconds, two cars stopped to help us out. Someone called a tow truck for us but Bob saved the evening. He was able to fix the fuse for us to make it back to the house. I couldn't believe how many people offered to help; there is still plenty of good in the world.

I have not been in the car since this happened. I may not get back in.
people are more caring than we give them credit for. but i have experienced both extremes.
